According to Renninger, K. (1990) we have little time to figure out of our social history we will find a complex system of social accounts from where we have come. Our lives of many interests and choices right from our positions of work to relationships with others, delights all bind us with others in more complicated ways. Roles of playing within these portions of our lives unites us with others, and we become a society. Recognition for a more complex aspect of being one community is rooted in the theory that gives identification of an individual are stated by the social world from where they carry various activities are prone to change. In many tribes of the world, individuals continue to term identity in an old-fashioned way.
Parents and carers being the most crucial impacts on a child’s progress there are other impacting aspects of the social development: the environment and the people living with the child, age mates and school. Through the contact of children with carers, members of the family and other children learn how to live with other people and about the practices and rules that support it. By participating in these relationships, children influence how adults and their friends relate to them. The development of the child is affected by the support of society. These systems give opportunities to children to build their social awareness and skills as they interact with different people and encounter a range of expectations.
Children are also designed by the broader social situations that have an impact on their communities for instance parents’ income and employment, access to health services. Children’s aspect of social transfer is affected by the attitude of the city and cultural values. Through their connection with others, children develop the element of who they are and their position in the social aspect. The aspect of understanding self and other people is the core goal of the development of children.
The beliefs and knowledge which children have about who they are and what they can do and their potential positions in the society assist in having an understanding of themselves. Children base their concepts on self on the feedback they receive from people and their verdicts or judgment. Children development is stated by the appropriate relationship with caregivers that are consistent because they relate to children through play. When parents observe their children play they are granted a unique opportunity or chance to view the world from their child’s point as the child plans a world created to fit the needs.
The play is the pillar of the academic environment. This ensures that the school setting meets the development of emotions to children and at the same time cognitive development. It has shown to help children to adjust to the environment and to facilitate readiness and problem-solving skills. Social learning is worth with academic knowledge. It concerns when some of the forces that enable the ability of the child to understand the expense of others.
Some children receive less time for explanatory play because they are targeted to cope and adapt to roles of the adults and facilitate them for the future at an early age. Good parents introduce their children to every chance to succeed and ensure their children contribute to many activities. Children are also added to computer programs as well as toys to ensure that they are well made stimulated for development. Some of these tools and applications are marketed, and some parents believe that they are of good parenting and are necessary for growth.
Play is crucial for brain development. Approximately 80 percent of the brain develops after a baby has been born, this is between birth to twenty years. Childhood play facilitates the mind to connect between nerve cells. This helps the child to develop skills such as walking, running and also coordination and also activities such as manipulating small tools and writing. During the teen years play help the brain to grow more connectivity, majorly in the frontal lobe which is the center for the right decision.
Play develops the brain function; this is also called the brain’s executive capacity. This refers to the skills that allow one to have time management, to plan, to remember details and to decide what is and not right to do in a given situation. It also helps growing children learn to use previous experience and to capture what to do currently. These skills are based on self-control. Kids with developed executive functions are useful in school and to make excellent decisions.
The play is also useful in developing the “Theory of mind.” This is the ability to position oneself in another’s shoes. They play “let’s pretend ” to know what the various individuals would think about. For one to engage in play game, he must understand the playmates. Well grown theory of the mind helps the child to be tolerant and have a passion for other people and increase their ability to work with others Pretend play facilitate one’s imagination and creativity. Kids who are motivated to use their imagination are more creative in their older ages. Artistic expression is crucial, and creativity is not limited to the arts. Creativity help people to look for new ways to carry out things and come up with new products that make our lives productive and more comfortable. It is the ability to make the belief that transforms the minds of people (Hughes, 2009).
Play connect family members. When everybody is getting entertainment, they don’t form the connection with each other that originate from having time together. When everyone in the society uses some playtime enjoying some play one feels okay about themselves. Parents who give their children time direct their playtime get much about the world. Board games are of help to older kids in that they can learn about turn taking, be polite winners and follow the rules. When families play together, they support each other and are also concerned with each other’s lives. When adults give all ideas for free time and draft rules, kids are denied learning basic skills. Free play gives kids the opportunity to learn to partner with others and to compromise. Kids cannot pretend to be supreme without the people to be saved. He can’t learn turn is taking if there is no another kid who wants to be a hero. In case she wants other kids to keep him company when playing she has to learn how to cope with other’s opinions.
Encourage the play. This means both unstructured and with no cost. It is essential to equip the kid with experiences that give them knowledge of new skills and how to play in a team. It is vital to provide so many activities that our children lack time for. Kids who are also in sports and activities may end up not knowing how to please themselves. Free play is for free that is the temptation to acquire video game or costumes. Kids who lack ready-made props for their match learn to invent. Sofas and boxes become a fort. A superhero cape can be formed out of a pillowcase. Furniture can be created out of bottle caps and odds. Kids who are motivated to be creative by using the available resources are more creative.
There are families with only one head of the household or two working parents, and other members of the extended family can look after the children. This means that families have adults supervision in the home during the weekday. Many parents have known how to become ease in balancing work and home chores. They make the efficient and effective use of limited time with their children and have every chance is the best use of time, some might use the standards of productivity they have acquired from work. This is sometimes referred to as professionalization.
For all children counsels the need to facilitate the implementation of those tactics that are known to enhance health for the development of youths. Some of these strategies are based on the community and others are school-based. They are rooted in deep systems that emerge when parents are engaged with their children. In ’90s children grew up in a world where something was good for some time. It seemed like the style took little time and it was gone, and it took to form a new web. It feels good to see both sides-the worlds before technology and the world after technology where it is of importance to have more handsets working simultaneously. The generation of the ’90s didn’t rely on kindles and other types away from the Game Boys. Children didn’t stay indoors because there was nothing they were doing unless when it was raining. However, kids today are of a different kind since they can do anything in their tablets. A major challenge today is the video game violence that provides children with models or approaches on how to handle some situations. Some of these trends that have changed since then are stipulated.
Music is a good example. Today we live in a world which is digital and the potential to acquire all the albums through the use of computers and download those songs into our tablets. One can purchase and download the whole album within the shortest time possible provided there is connected internet. Then, waiting to be served as one of the first people to get the song for a particular album was replaced by radios and the children would overplay the song and parents forced them to play with it.
Today movies are acquired by downloading without even being in movie sites or theatre. Videos are being streamed and obtained even before its releasing time nationwide. These downloads go at the same cost as going to the movies or sometimes cheaper. Then, after a film was released to the audience in the theatres, one had to wait for months for it to be released as DVDs which was a thin shiny disk. There were no unique characteristics on the DVD.
Today we choose the internet we want depending on our preference. Transitions can be made and place our best sites. This is made more comfortable with the availability of Wi-Fi which is not very high to pay. Then, there were only two programs to make a choice and the two involved tying up of the line. Signing to the early AOL, one could become the third person in a call. It was against the clock to fit the phone so that one could get messages over random things
