I chose the PODCAST that focused on the Corona Virus issue and the current labor market. The POD CAST presentation has evaluated how the corona virus issue might affect the labor market within the United States. The PODCAST highlights that the labor market has greatly evolved and some sectors of the economy has greatly resulted into the creation of more jobs. The current job statistics relating to the number of jobs which have been created within the United States. The reports thus shows that the labor market was in a good momentum just before the outbreak of the Corona virus. From the PODCAST discussions, there is an eminent fear that the Corona Virus Outbreak might greatly affect the good statistics. The labor market has immensely evolved since the beginning of the last year and it is therefore suspected that it is the nature of the evolution that it is likely to be affected by the coronavirus. From the PODCAST analysis, it is very clear that the labor market is being affected in two distinct ways. There are those sectors which are adding more jobs whereas there are those areas in the economy whose job numbers are considerably reducing as per the last labor statistics. Some parts of the labor market have been slated to be struggling and are not doing enough to create more jobs. From the PODACST, it can noted that the American economy is trying to create more jobs irrespective of problems relating to politics and other global issues such as world fires. The main question than an individual can draw from the discussion is whether the American economy will be able to withstand the issue of coronavirus which has hit China to the core. The discussion is predictive and can guide the audience of what is expected from the US economy. The sectors such as manufacturing, warehousing, transportation have been stated as the main sectors which are straggling. It can generally be stated that the goods producing sectors have been struggling and are easily affected by trade wars and terrors. The second sector which is doing well is the service sectors ranging from tourism, and educations sector. From the dis cuss ion, it can be predicted that the service sector will be hit with the corona virus issue as sectors such as tourism are reliant on people leaving their homes and visiting new places. With the current such sectors will be greatly hit as the movements of people will be limited and may in the end result results in the decline in the job creation.
