Politics

Politics Politics is a vast arena where people come out and sell their ideas to the public, and people elect one with the best manifesto as their choice. Contestation is an instrument of significant effect in politics as driven by Cannolly, where it's an expression through the argument for the participants in a political race where they contest, and the public opinion lays the final judgment. Cannolly weighs the political field to a jury where it is the legal system of achieving a position of leadership in a legal system. Politics is a complicated institution where everything is bias and full of extremes since people commit treason; they are involved in acts of corruption and tyranny. Crime is a disgrace in any legal procedures of law, and those that engage in unethical acts in politics should be put through a law jurisdiction and judged. In the words of the great Martin Luther King, he advocated for non-violent reactions of political crises and disagreements as everyone is in the great urge to make themselves heard in the society. In the era of Luther King, there was an uprising organization to speak against racism in a critical and revolutionary manner called the Black Power Movement. This organization was projected by the Black people who felt discriminated against and treated with racism. Still, the slogan sparkled separatism and violence among the people rather than an image of unity and a common belief. This movement acted as a critic to the ruler leadership of King Luther, and as a leader, he had a choice to make to save his people from the edges of violence and chaos. Luther opted for non-violent methods to attain civil rights goals, where he made the Black people slogan amicable in the public dominion and offered a platform for their argument.  Luther used words that showed togetherness by calling the whites and the blacks’ brothers and sisters that showed that they belonged to a common motherland. In the language of Augustine, humans share a single origin where he depicts the image of the biblical view of creation, putting to light that we originated from Adam. The same root declares that we share more than blood, feelings, and emotions that call for more unity than division. Eve was created from the rib of Adam, which tells us unity begins right from the marriage institution to the family and spread to the world. It is absurd for people who have a common father to fight and spill blood over rivalry and enmity instead of exercising affection with people around you, both those who care and your enemies. The concept of single-origin, in a religious background, shows that those who disobey are a misfit to the kingdom and rather deserve a death punishment by death and is the ultimate judgment of those in the society that are defiant should be judged in a court of law. Adam is the source of the human race, and people are always different in thoughts and character; hence, they choose to do well. The destiny of someone's choices tells which position of life you take. When a member of the family projects ill motives to his brother or sister, it is clear that they have chosen a route for evil, and every consequence to follow after that is entirely on their shoulders. Disagreements and conflict are part and parcel of the society we are in it are expected since people are from different backgrounds and possess different characters and behaviors; hence can quickly fall apart. It is a personal responsibility to treat people with respect and show the best part of you to make society a place worth living. Malicious responses are unnecessary to people who are around you or from the same motherland because they only divide and tear people apart. People are different, and diversity is a source of power and strength if embraced; hence, people should be encouraged to put on the table the best part of them as long as they put away anything that will split a society. Hayek depicts the role of society affected by capitalism and can only allow transition from the market in the same direction and a single plan for all. The community is compelled to a new course because the competition is eliminated by persistent changes, assimilation, and transitions in the technological sector (Hayek, The Road to serfdom, pp44). Technology in the production sector is vital for consumers and producers—the owners of factors of production mold the society to the shape of wellbeing or definite failure. Capitalism calls for one ethical code in a community where the members must unite to beat the odds. Technology has shut minor production firms out of the market-leading to monopoly and dominance by the big firms (Hayek, The Road to Serfdom, pp47). Society is in dire need of small business firms, but also they need sources of production that are more productive and beneficial to unite the community at large. Society is a place for all despite the different cultures and beliefs because learning from each other increases interaction and unity; hence division has no place in a home of one voice.
