Positive transformations in other people’s lives
The generation of positive transformations in other people’s lives has always been one of my critical interests since childhood. I enjoyed participating in charitable activities and visiting the sick in our neighborhoods in the company of relatives. By the time I was in high school, I had decided to enroll for a healthcare-related course in college. I later joined the nursing profession that enabled me to develop a great sense of accomplishment by helping patients to experience holistic recovery. I would like to pursue the physician profession as a way of performing more treatment and patient empowerment roles in the future. I believe that this program will empower me to deliver care services in a wider scope since physicians can perform their roles independently after acquiring the necessary qualifications.
I have been researching about physician roles by inquiring from professionals and reading relevant materials. One of the main roles that interest me is patient empowerment and the provision of medication. I would also like to take part in decision-making processes that focus on health promotion measures. However, I believe that the program will equip me with detailed information about a physician’s roles. Moreover, I look forward to applying the course outcomes in clinical environments by engaging in practical learning activities. In addition to course objectives, I think that adherence to institutional regulations will help me achieve competencies necessary for the achievement of top grades and outstanding professional competencies. Consequently, I can attain my primary goal of maximizing my contributions to health promotion programs.
My determination to impact patients’ lives in a greater manner drives me to enroll in a physician program. I believe that interprofessional collaborations are vital in every profession. Thus, I will also seek to establish networks with other professionals while at the same time maintaining participation in the current teams. I also plan to direct maximized commitment to course activities to build in-depth knowledge concerning a physician’s roles and how to deal with challenges. In addition to attending all the learning sessions, I will also interact with peers to gain new ideas concerning new knowledge development. Such interactions also allow for the achievement of a greater sense of self-confidence after the acknowledgment of personal strengths.
The nursing profession has enabled me to build certain skills that might help develop meaningful knowledge and skills regarding the physicians’ roles. They include leadership, analytical, critical thinking and interpersonal capabilities. I have learned how to influence others in quality improvement efforts and organize teamwork activities. Moreover, analytical skills help me to integrate evidence-based practice into daily operations. Effective interpersonal capabilities allow me to develop positive relationships with patients and other professionals. I look forward to gaining more guidance on how to use the skills in physician roles.
I also believe that the course will help me to address personal weaknesses that are likely to limit my learning outcomes. Based on previous learning and work experiences, my main weaknesses include incorporating cultural competency into professional roles and managing professionalism. I look forward to accessing guidance and learning materials concerning the profession. I would like to pay attention to all the course guidelines and consider instructors’ views concerning the achievement of optimal outcomes. Additionally, I will perform independent research studies to reinforce the results.
