Prisoner’s children
It is essential for a nation to have a healthy populous, which is necessary for substantial productivity that ensures growth and development. The young ones form a large mass of the future leaders of tomorrow; hence, it is mandatory for their treatment to exhibit care and proper guidance. It is true that children of prisoners face many challenges in their lives, making it an appropriate initiative for the National Association of Social Workers heed to their call through social work with them in their respective communities.
Children make up an essential unit in society, thereby require ideal growth and development as entailed in social work that assists in proper upbringing. Social work presents an opportunity for individuals to keep busy and avoid idling around. Children are bound to get bonuses through engaging in such activities as they learn the benefits of responsibility as they garner essential skills that catapult proper upbringing. Some of the attributes in social work involve coordination and discipline (Spiteri 775). The skill set favors schooling which entails persons from different walks of life coming together to learn in a learning environment. A child engaging in social working gets an advantage as he or she learns how to employ diverse cultures through cordial relations.
Prisoner’s children lack in many fronts that may derail their ideal growth and development, which makes them need proper indulgence to draw them away from adversity. The psychological system of a young one points to feebleness in cognition and prone to influence (Apesteguia et al. 11). Parental care is essential for a child as it gives the young one a sense of belonging and the feel of love and appreciation to fill the void of parenthood coupled with adversities such as lacking sufficient basic needs facing one set back after the other. Social work offers the opportunity to engage a child’s mind, giving them a sense of belonging steering away from malpractices.

They must roll out the systems that would ensure a prosperous plot as they protect the young ones from ridicule or ignorant afflictions that may arise from a judgmental society which alludes to a potential challenge. My goal is to convince those who support the National Association of Social Workers across every state that prisoner’s children face tons of problems hence require mitigation efforts to set proper standards for their growth and development through social work initiatives. The potential resources for supporting evidence include:
- The School Social Work Association that meets such young ones through their plots in schools concerning social work.
- The Bureau of Justice Statistics which has the details and numbers of prisoner’s children.
The plan steers forth proper engagements as enshrined in the ethical codes of conduct that dictate the equal and kind treatment of every individual respective of their origins or incapacitations (Morgan 805). Integration of the evidence would be most effective if the company works in liaison with the ministry of health who are in charge of championing for ideal policies for such initiatives and the corridors of the Administration for Children and Families as they provide family assistance regarding child welfare.
