Prostitution
Prostitution can lead to disruption of social and moral values(Shuster 1992). Prostitution contributes to the degeneration of morals in society. Streets prostitutes carry out sexual activities in social places where many people can see them, including children. This makes them see that selling their bodies for sex as an accepted job in their community to satisfy their needs. They grow up being morally disrupted by seeing things that are not of their ages, and some end up being prostitutes. The government should set up laws undermining sexual works in the world to promote moral activities. For sex workers realize that prostitution increases the transmission of aids and related sexually transmitted diseases, thus a high mortality rate in the world.
Promote venereal disease, such as acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Hiv and other sexually transmitted diseases are most among peoples who exchanges sex for money reason being they don’t care about their health. They are just after the money they will get after selling their body for sex; this leads to the occurrence of many deaths worldwide. Prostitutes are much considered as one of the crimes abusing single human rights. Through this type of work, many people end up committing suicide as a result of stress, drug and alcohol, and incurable diseases like HIV/AIDS, among many other conditions, even as a result of drug abuse. Someone may be involved in an accident. Sex workers go against the right to the good health of human beings worldwide because it will lead to acquiring dangerous diseases, which can also cause death.
Prostitution victimizes and denigrates women(Brents 2005) . as women go through with prostitution, they come up across many challenges. Women are for sex without reaching an agreement, and others get killed as also so that there is no evidence. Some women who work in the streets as prostitutes get robbed, others get raped and at long last end up being killed.
Substance use/ drugs. The youth who have been commercially sexually exploited have a higher level of using drug abuse than other adolescents (Cusick 2003). As many teenagers are involved in prostitution, this will lead to more use of drug abuse so that they can reduce stress because of the kind of work they carry. As a result, drug abuse causes many other criminals, such as robbery, suicide, and killing, among other crimes.
Prostitution leads to homeless youths. ( Este 2001) due to teenagers involving in prostitution, they will not build their homes because they mostly stay in the streets to wait for their customers passing by people. Homeless teens may include runaway individual children who leave their homes without permission from the responsible person. Others are thrown away by being forced to leave because of doing prostitution so that they can go into streets where he/she is safe of not meeting family members.
