QUESTIONS ON MARKETING
Question1
Marketing strategy act as a link between the organisation and its customers. By the use of marketing machine, it’s a convenient way to convince people to like the product they have not yet used. Consider the case of the film ‘Devil inside’ they influenced people by convincing their mind that the film was good, but later people on viewing it realized the truth. They did not like the movie. .Target market should be considered when marketing either in any form of the marketing machine that is used.
One of the used strategies found convenient is the number of people used to supply the message. This was the case used by the paramount studios marketing department. According to (Blum, 2015), every one of those departments has hundreds or a couple of hundred people. This helped to spread the advert in the wide areas and as fast as possible. That is most of the theatres had the trailer of the film. Because within a short period the trailer of the film was found everywhere in the U.S.
The use of a well-known organisation for marketing is a strategy. For instance, the paramount studios is a well-known organisation in the marketing of the film. This was one of the reasons that captured the attention of the potential customer to book a ticket to the ‘devil inside’ film. According to (Henn, 2015), paramount studios and marketing department, its publicity department and its media buying department all got behind this film.
The success of this strategy used in the marketing would not have resulted in the more profit were it not that it has been spread not only in the U.S but also in the whole world. The marketing strategy used should reach as more people as much if possible the whole world. This was the reason they used paramount where after it negotiated deals with theatre across the country.
