Recommendation to an organization
To Whom It May Concern
I am writing this letter to you on behalf of a business student who is about to graduate with a degree in business management and is looking for a vacancy in your organization. She excelled in her exams and has been working as a volunteer in various organizations. She recently took care of a family friend who suffered a massive stroke and was bedridden.
The responsibilities included turning him in bed every two hours, and she had to stay around him so that whenever he got tired of laying on one side, she would be there to turn him to the other side. There was a routine that she strictly followed, which included bathing him at 3 pm every day. Other duties were changing the colostomy bag and emptying the catheter when full. She ensured that he took his medicines on time and the quantity the doctor had advised.
Mealtimes were in her routine, and she would give him food four times a day through a peg tube.
Once in a while during the day, she would light clean him and massage his legs so that they would not lock. She would ensure he stays well-groomed by cutting his nails and also combing his hair.
The lady is ready to take new challenges as she has proved to be hardworking and patient from her previous volunteer jobs. She is willing to learn more and offer her services to more people. The position will sharpen her skills and give her more exposure. I recommend her for the position, and I have confidence in her skills. I hope you will consider my request. Thank you in advance.
Yours sincerely
