Reconstruction and nourishment of beaches
- The Beaches along Fort Lauderdale May appear to be naturally beautiful, although these beaches are not natural. A lot of manual work has been done to make them look natural. Since 1970, the beaches have been rebuild with sand four times. The offshore between coral reefs is dredged, and the materials are piled onto the beach. Actually, the beach was rebuild in early 2006. Engineers in Coastal Florida reconstructed the beaches after hurricanes even though their jobs seem to get harder. Options to renovate sand range from sand by-passing that entails scooping up and carrying sand past barriers such as ports. Then, the grinding grass bottles maintain the same size as a grain of sand.
- Beach nourishment is also known as beach replenishment, nourishment or sand nourishment. It is the processes through which sediments such as sand, which is lost through erosion or longshore drift, are replaced by other sources. The beach cannot renovate on their own since all harbors and ports along with Florida Coat. The sand used for nourishment comes from offshore since it is easily accessed. Sand heaps up north of the port, whereas beaches to the south decrease away. I think beach nourishment is a very significant activity since this protects people’s properties. If we have a shallow or narrow beach, we can get our structures undermined, lost, beat up, lost or damaged. So let’s appreciate the government effort of reconstructing the beaches.

The engineers estimated this to be enough to fill a line of dump trucks from Fort Lauderdale to Richmond, Virginia. Further research indicates that there are still few sand deposits that can be easily accessed along offshore. However, down the coast, Miami-Dade is less well-off.
