Reflective Essay: EBP Data
EBP is essential because of its influence in offering the most effective care at the disposal of the patients. It aims at improving patient outcomes. Notably, there is the expectation among the patients to obtain the most effective care based on the best available evidence. The most significant learning concerning the use of EBP data in driving decisions is the systematic use of research to aid the development of the model in terms of the decision-making process. This is through the generation of the resources and support for the decisions accessible to the healthcare practitioners.
The knowledge gained in this course played a critical role in aiding the realization of the goals of effective change management aimed at the improvement of quality care outcomes. Critically, EBP data focuses on the eradication of the forms of resistance to the change process while creating room for the achievement of improved quality care outcomes.
In the designing of my EBP project, I sought to incorporate and depict visionary skills associated with effective leadership to help in the achievement of the set goals and targets. Besides, in the eradication of the potential resistance in the optimization of the change process, I did depict leadership skills for the ideal communication of the issue at hand toward addressing the quality care outcomes. The course activities and written assignments offered room to help communicate the knowledge of health promotion, quality improvement, and health literacy. Besides, in the project, I used the clinical experience to help facilitate the translation of evidence into practice as a platform for the optimization of quality care outcomes. The approach was vital in translating the role of theory and research to help offer quality products and services associated with the personalized needs of the patients to improve care outcomes.
