RELIGION IS NOT SOMETHING THAT CAN
Religion is not something that can be understood through mere definitions, but can only be understood through real descriptions that originate from a complete belief (inner side). There is no definition of religion that is truly satisfying without being accompanied by faith. For this reason religion can be interpreted as a symptom that is so often “found everywhere” and religion is related to human efforts to measure the meaning of the existence of oneself and the existence of the universe, besides religion can awaken the most perfect inner happiness and also overcome fear. Religion as a form of human belief in something that is supernatural in fact turns out to divide humans in the broad scope of life. Religion has values for human life as individuals or in relation to society. In addition, religion also has an impact on daily life. Thus, psychologically religion can function as a useful intrinsic (internal) motive, including for mental therapy and extrinsic (external) motives in order to fend off the negative dangers of the current global era. And motives that are driven by religious beliefs are judged to have amazing strength and are difficult to match by non-religious beliefs, both profane doctrines and ideologies.
