Response to Jessica Givens
Thank you so much, Jessica Givens, for your answers. You were amazing and raised great points. It is clear that we both are and including the entire class are enjoying the class. Unit 8 Personality and Behavior has been great too and easily understood despite the various challenges we all face amidst this pandemic. I admire your organized work; the points and ideas are also readily accessible. Thumbs up, Jessica Givens!
In your discussion, you mentioned that personality is flexible. I find the statement ambiguous. Just mentioning that personality is flexible is too shallow. I would like to understand it deeper and also understand the concept of dynamism in personality. Personality can be both dynamic and flexible, all shaped by the different life experiences and influences by the individual’s environments (Begley,2008). The estimation and measuring were used to perceive how the test-taker was to react to the inquiries on the evaluation or test, though, in psychometrics, validity is estimating how well the appraisal or test was made (Cohen & Swerdlik, 2018). You did not touch on the dynamic part.
