Role of Human Resource on Employee Job Satisfaction
Every organization considers Human resource management as a precious asset to invest in. Different organizations, including private and public sectors such as banks, heavily succeed due to the human resource’s performance, concentrating on employee’s skills. The combination of abilities, knowledge acquired, and skills portrayed by employees’ attitudes, and talents of Human resource management includes hiring, training, wages, and assessment. The human resource department is responsible for the recruitment of qualified and potential candidates based on chosen criteria for a specific job.
One of the critical factors that have drawn the manager’s attention in organizations is the job satisfaction factor. Job satisfaction is the contentment a person has towards his/her job, derived from the mental feeling. A lot of research has been done to determine the factors of job satisfaction and how it affects an organization’s productivity. Studies have also shown that human resource management positively influences the satisfaction of employees.
Human Resource management creates a conducive working environment and reasonable working terms and conditions, enabling employees to have a positive attitude and gets more committed to accomplish tasks and goals set by an organization. Commitment by the organization makes employees commit to aiding the organization in achieving the set targets willingly. HRM’s success plans result in the invention of new things, knowledge management ability, and better organizational learning, which ultimately accomplishes organizational performance. HRM has a significant and positive influence on the job performance and satisfaction of the employee.
The human resource department manages the employee’s relations. The relationship between employees is crucial and taken as the pillar of every organization. It’s a whole idea and essential functions that help employees develop a positive employee relation. Employee relationships influence job satisfaction, productivity, work output, and behavior. The management needs to plan for social activities to help them know the employees from their level to the professional level. The better the employee relations are prepared, the more it increases a healthy relationship between the employee and the employer. It is the most critical factor in the success of the organization and enhances job satisfaction.
Another role of the human resource in job satisfaction is training and development. Training and development attempt to improve the future of the current production, adding the capabilities through teaching and enhancing their knowledge and skills in their professionals. The human resource department organizes retreats and training seminars to add on their understanding that will eventually increase production in an organization. The human resource department has the responsibility of recognizing such basic facts and provide appropriate learning opportunities and surrounding conditions. These conditions will enable the employee to work hard and help achieve the set goals of an organization.
The above roles determine how the employees feel about their jobs and the focus on in their areas of specialization, their feelings and, accessing broad employee problems that, in return, will enhance job satisfaction. Therefore it’s noted that the human resource has a relative contribution and employee job satisfaction in an organization’s commitment. Human resource issues are addressed strategically through effective human resource management in an organization.
