Sufism is a mystical Islamic believes that is widely practiced in southern Asia and mostly in Pakistan. It is based on beliefs in harmony and tolerance of other people. Sufism started in Iraq and spread to other parts through the Sufi saints, who went to all ends to spread the love of God. Sufi is similar to other mystical religions in that they believe in a supreme being, God, and following His attributes and seeking to reach him. They have traditions such as touching fire and dancing around the Sufi shrine.
The main appeal of Sufism is humility and consideration of human beings as God’s creation. People consider themselves humble and just mere creations of Allah. It is open to everyone, and even Hindus are a large part of it. They also believe in the forgiveness of sins and the removal of trouble. It has dramatically affected the social structure of society and influences the way people live. It is common to find Allah answered people are going to the Sufi shrines to pray and give thanksgiving for the thing they believe.
The doctrine of Sufism is based on finding the love of God and knowledge through a direct experience of Him. It is based on a purification path in which the body and the mind are purified. They believe that the saints have an in-depth knowledge of things that cannot be explained by the world. The Sufi saints believe in a return of what existed before, the time of Prophet Muhamad where live was pious, filled with simplicity and purity. This explains one of their practices on kindness, where the vibrant society distributes food to the weak daily.
