Student learning outcomes
As a successful student, I have reflected a competent learning outcome throughout the course. Through the use of practical evaluative approaches, I have been able to apply the skills I learned throughout the class to make up for my future. I achieved essential skills applicable to life. I acknowledge that throughout the course, the skills I attained can enable me to do things that can sustain me. The learning outcomes make me demonstrate measurable and observable knowledge, attitudes, and abilities. Furthermore, throughout the course, I have shown the ability to administer expertise and skills in my area of specialization. Learning outcomes targets on outcomes of the learning experiences, reflect wide theoretical knowledge and adaptive generic and vocational skills, reflects the desired end of the learning experience, enabled me to understand why the course was significant in, my life, and represent the minimal outcome that must be attained to successfully a course or program. Sincerely, there a lot of things that I did in class for the whole project, like researching Human Health and Wellness, Reflective Essays, and Annotated Bibliography. It was quite a lengthened process. In addition, I had fun with it and learned a lot. After completing the whole project, there are three learning outcomes of the course goals that link to the process of this entire project. The first one is reflecting knowledge of individual and collaborative processes. Secondly, analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating a variety of texts for the logical and ethical uses of evidence. The last outcome is developing ideas and synthesizing primary and secondary sources within focused academic arguments, including one or more research based-essays. Throughout the research in the entire course, I have come to familiarize myself with a lot of things that are useful in my life. in the study I conducted, I understood the importance of human health and wellness, among other things.
With the first student learning outcome, to reflect how I have demonstrated knowledge of individual and collaborative writing processes, I can show the step I have applied to write all my assignments during the entire course period, beginning from the outline, the rough draft, and ultimate final draft. The research essay “Human Health and Wellness” is about how teenagers face depression during their early years of development. Outline played a critical role in the research essay and acted as an initial step when writing my essay. Not was the outline was the backbone of my essay, but also it assisted me in getting thoughts out on a page. How I wrote my outline was to enumerate all major points out and afterward name a few supporting information or unfinished thoughts so that it is all in one area by the time I am supposed to write a final research essay. In my rough draft for “Human Health and Wellness,” I took all the information from the outline and detailed more and put it into an easy research structure. This is a significant part of writing, as this is the stage where I started putting together all pieces. After writing the rough draft and the outline, this is the stage in the process of writing where I had the finished essay of “Human Health and Wellness.” Proofreading is a significant step I did to ensure that the information I provided was free from the error of mechanics. I research for valid sources with relevant information concerning my research topic. Therefore, throughout my research paper, I thoroughly demonstrated individual and collaborative research processes to come up with a perfect research essay.
In addition, based on “Human Health and Wellness” as a research essay, I can develop ideas and synthesize primary and secondary sources within focused academic arguments as a student learning outcome. In my research essay, I have used both primary and secondary sources. The primary sources I have used have enabled me to convey the first-hand experience of time or event period I’m studying. The secondary sources I used helped me to convey the experiences of other or second-hand information. Secondary source using various evaluative techniques in my research paper also acts as a mediary between me and the primary source. In my research work all over the course, the secondary sources assisted me with credibility. Using them in writing showed that I have researched my topic and can discuss the topic with others. I have used primary and secondary sources to support my research thesis on “Human Health and Wellness.” Using different types of sources during the course proves that I acknowledge earlier authors. Ultimately, I develop ideas and synthesize primary and secondary sources within focused academic claims, constituting one or more research-based essays.
Moreover, analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating a variety of texts for ethical and logical evidence as a student learning outcome was significant in my research essay throughout the course. In this student learning outcome, I demonstrated skills in my research work by citing accordingly from the sources used to avoid plagiarism. When it comes to writing, paper ethics and logical evidence are very important. I learned how to cite authors suitably during this course. Using examples from my research essay during my session “Human Health and Wellness,” I cited different sources combined with journals or people for this essay. I used authentic referencing materials and acknowledged the authors to maintain logical and ethical evidence. In cases where the evidence was a quotation, I carefully copied the quote word for word from the place and source it in quotation marks. If my evidence was anecdote or paraphrase, stating it might use more space, state the story, or paraphrase as succinctly and clearly as possible. In my research essay in analyzing logical and ethical evidence, I applied various steps such as identifying the point the authors in the source are attempting to claim or prove, identifying certain facts the author provides to support the argument and explaining how the prove/evidence is supposed to relate to the claim. I also understood how to create logical syllogisms and how it does not automatically mean that writers know how to apply logic to create an argument. I realized that crafting a coherent series into a written discussion can be a stringent obligation. It is through logical and ethical evidence in my research I understood there several reasons that can make a paragraph not to build a moral and logical argument. To begin with, it supposes that anyone’s reasoning logically will already concur with the author, which is vividly untrue. Additionally, I learned how to evaluate an argument by putting the argument in standard form, identifying the conclusion and the premises, deciding if the argument is non-deductive or deductive, determining whether logically the argument succeeds and making the last judgment whether the judgment is bad or good. The sources I used for my research essay were authentic and contained valid information to support the development of my paper. I also used peer-reviewed articles to develop my research alongside books. Therefore, in writing my research paper, I analyzed, interpreted, and evaluated various texts for the logical and ethical uses of evidence.
In conclusion, to reflect upon my learning all over the course, I identified and critically discussed three student learning outcomes that demonstrate the range of possible issues Human Health and Wellness. Reflecting on my learning and experience helps me to identify areas of further development and personal strengths. The first learning outcome I demonstrated skills in was knowledge of individual and collaborative research processes. The second was Developing ideas and synthesizing primary and secondary sources within focused academic arguments, including one or more research-based essays. The last student learning outcome I demonstrated skills on was Analyze, interpreting, and evaluating a variety of texts for the ethical and logical uses of evidence. I feel that all over the learning course, I have reflected my attainment. I have critically concluded and discussed each learning outcome throughout the essay, but to summarize, Human Health and Wellness are paramount. I feel that self-reflection in terms of reflection is the key. This will help me to look at my skills to identify areas of development and strengths to finally give best practice throughout the learning period.
