The first article analyzed in this article is one by JC Sullivan and Mike Saxton titled “The 5-Step Guide to Making AI Work within your Cybersecurity Strategy.” https://www.securitymagazine.com/articles/92349-the-5-step-guide-to-making-ai-work-within-your-cybersecurity-strategy.

The article claims that many organizations are facing challenges in implementing Artificial Intelligence to enhance cybersecurity. The article, therefore, proposes five steps that can help companies understand the AI algorithm and make it work within the cybersecurity strategy. The first step is considering the risks and the goals of Artificial intelligence before implementing it in cybersecurity operations. The second guide is establishing the foundation; and this involves understanding the basics. The basics are categorized as; visibility, governance, storage and processing, and workflow. The third guide is understanding the human element of AI in cybersecurity. The fourth guide in this article is to focus on AI-based use cases before the implementation of Artificial Intelligence. The last guide is to automate and orchestrate for quick ROI.

The second article is by Danny Palmer and is titled, “AI is changing everything about cybersecurity, for better and for worse. Here’s what you need to know.” https://www.zdnet.com/article/ai-is-changing-everything-about-cybersecurity-for-better-and-for-worse-heres-what-you-need-to-know/.

The article acknowledges that cyber-attacks have been on the rise in the past two years. Businesses are facing a challenge in fighting off cyber-attacks. The article suggests that Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is important in helping organizations to prevent cyber-attacks. Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence are important as they often provide timely responses to issues that are disrupting an organization. However, despite the advantages, the article claims that Artificial Intelligence also has the potential of making cyber attacks more dangerous. Cybercriminals have seemingly mastered the use of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technology to conduct cyber-crimes. The article concludes that the use of AI-based cyber-security tools can be effective if enforced in conjunction with human security.

The next resource analyzed here is a video on YouTube video is on Four ways in which AI Will Change Our lives. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFIIrmjGhIA.

One way in which AI might change our future is through automated transportation through self-driven cars. The second way is through cyborg technology through AI. For instance, the use of artificial limbs for amputees. The other thing is that AI will change our lives by taking over dangerous jobs. These include the use of drones, welding, bomb defusing, etc. The last step is solving climate change. AI is capable of analyzing climate change trends and help inform on ways that can be used to mitigate such changes.

The other resource is also a YouTube video on the Meaning of AI, Benefits, and Challenges, and What you can Do to Prepare for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zs26A5qVFA4

The video states that humans are always obsessed with creating human intelligence. It states that AI has been enhanced by big data and increased computing power. It describes AI as software that can be designed to do things that only humans used to be able to do. It states that AI is unavoidable and will constantly be growing each day. AI can increase productivity by 300%, increase accuracy, and can help with decision making through predicting financial trends, offer analysis, and enhance customer service, etc. AI can identify success factors and help the organization understand employees. The potential dangers of AI are like security, lack of rules, and regulation for AI control in times of crisis, leading unemployment, and also, AI challenges the Status Quo. The article concludes by suggesting that it is important to various scenarios for what the future holds in designing and adapting to AI.

The next resource is by Max Tegmark, titled; Benefits & Risks of Artificial Intelligence. https://futureoflife.org/background/benefits-risks-of-artificial-intelligence/?cn-reloaded=1.

The article states that AI is progressing rapidly and when it comes to specific tasks, it outperforms humans. However, AI has got some security concerns regarding the safety of AI. There are fears that AI can be used to control many things that might sometimes be used wrongly. The article cites that AI can be programmed to do something devastating. It can also be used to do something beneficial but creates aa destructive method for achieving the goal. However, despite the benefits and the dangers, AI remains unpredictable.

The other resource is a video titled Why Don’t We Have Self-Driving Cars Yet?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE3gXRKBNHc.

The video displays the self-driven concept cars by various companies. With these technologies, the question remains how much longer do we have to wait for fully autonomous cars. There are various levels of automation; and level one is where the vehicle controls steering, level twos are partial automation, level three is conditional information, level four is high automation, and level five is full automation. However, despite these, the road to automation is still far due to factors such as bad roads which can’t support automation, and lack of wireless connection to other cars. Traffic laws are also needed to be adjusted to accommodate automated vehicles i.e., creating special lanes. Experts, however, believe that full automation is still far away.

The other resource is an article by Kelsey Piper; titled, It’s 2020. Where are our self-driving cars? https://www.vox.com/future-perfect/2020/2/14/21063487/self-driving-cars-autonomous-vehicles-waymo-cruise-uber.

The article begins by citing that most experts predicted that by 2020 there would be many self-driven cars on the road. However, its 2020 but these predictions haven’t come true. Most self-driven cars rely on artificial intelligence, therefore, their reliability in most roads has been a challenge. For self-driven cars to be successful, they require changes to infrastructures – this makes it expensive, thus, affects their advancement. The project has also been affected by safety concerns. Despite the many changes that automakers have made, the reality of self-driven cars still requires more time.

The other resource is by Hyperdrive and is titled, The State of the Self-Driving Car Race 2020. https://www.bloomberg.com/features/2020-self-driving-car-race/.

The article acknowledges that the Corona Virus pandemic has enhanced automation in driving and factories. The article state that most automakers have set their eyes on ensuring that by 2021 they have their self-driven cars on the road. Consequently, the competition has also been tight in this field. The funding for self-driven cars has been also on the rise in the past years. Self-driven cars are projected to enhance the reduction of shipping costs. This factor, therefore, attracts makes the market for autonomous cars to be very attractive to the automakers.

The second resource is a video titled, How China Is Using Artificial Intelligence in Classrooms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMLsHI8aV0g.

The video depicts students wearing headbands that measure the level of concentration. Teachers can determine if a student isn’t paying attention – and the data can also be transmitted to the parents. China has got classrooms that monitor the health of citizens, and their level of engagement levels, student wear jackets with trackers, and surveillance cameras. The headband devices have got different lights to display various levels of concentration. They have enhanced learning and better performance in class. However, they also result in a lot of pressure on the students.

The other resource is an article Alyssa Johnson; titled 5 Ways AI Is Changing the Education Industry. https://elearningindustry.com/ai-is-changing-the-education-industry-5-ways.

The article sites that Artificial intelligence technology has now become part of us, and is applied to many aspects of our lives. AI has changed how people learn due to increased computer power and access. First, AI has changed education by simplifying administrative tasks through automates tests and grading systems, and processing paperwork. The other issue is smart content such as video lectures, digitalized learning resources, etc. AI has also enhanced personalized learning through instant feedback to students. Artificial intelligence has also broken the global boundaries enhancing global learning as people can get online degrees. It has also enhanced new efficiencies i.e., directing students withing their institutions and making easy access to services.
