Task 3 Part 2A
I trust the email finds you well. First, I want to register my gratitude regarding the Co-op opportunity in your company. Over the years, the company has risen through phases, established itself as one of the best institutions, and has championed the need to give individuals equal chances in society. Granting me the opportunity to be part of the team was immensely beneficial to me and helped me hone my skills. Such acts cannot be taken lightly as it was not a privilege but an act of kindness that must be appreciated with immense gratitude it deserves. Therefore, kindly accept my appreciation for the opportunity that the company offered me to hone my skills and vast experience I gained during the period of my stay.
One essential lesson I learned during my period in the organization is how teamwork is vital in realizing the goals of the organization and effectively executing the tasks without lagging behind the stipulated time. The organizational culture in the institution encourages collaboration among the employees, and every aspect of tasks are performed as a group. The culture has eradicated not only unnecessary competition among the employees but also other adverse elements that are associated with individualism. The virtue of teamwork in your company has given me a different insight into the importance of a collective approach in dealing with tasks and other related activities in the workplace. In that regard, the teamwork aspect made me understand that collectivity in the execution of tasks is vital in effectively realizing the deadlines set. The other essential lesson that I learned during my entire involvement in the organization is the importance of remaining flexible and ready to learn. In the organization, several people are vastly experienced in their field of expertise and are prepared to help upcoming professionals. Therefore, being flexible and ready to learn proved to be one of the requisite ideals that an individual should have to learn from the best. Finally, strict adherence to the organizational culture in achieving the stipulated goals of an organization is another vital lesson that I learned during my working period in the organization. These lessons provided me with a critical platform to understand the driving forces behind every organization and how I can maximize the aspects of collective working to enhance my productivity.
Apart from the vital lessons that I learned based on the organizational culture and operations in the company, I am grateful for various things that I acquired, and the organization bequeathed me during my partial working period in the organization. First, I gained practical work experience in the organization, a fete that cannot be achieved in the classroom environment. During this period, the company acted as a platform upon which I effectively honed my skills through the practical work experience and the knowledge from the experienced individuals in the organization. On the same note, the opportunity to work in the organization acted as a platform for me to apply the academic knowledge learned in class to the workplace. In most cases, the theoretical aspects of the profession taught in class do not translate to effectiveness in the workplace. Therefore, as a result of the organization, I managed to effectively apply the vital concepts I learned in class through the academic knowledge to the workplace and ascertained the practicability of those concepts in the workplace. On the other hand, I have gained the essential skills related to the development of workplace ethics and maturity. Under the supervision and direction of various seasoned people in the organization, I managed to adequately understand the workplace ethics and maturity that was characterized by enhanced interpersonal and communication skills. These skills were essential in guiding my operations during my stay in the organization.
The skills I have learned in the organization will have not only helped me in honing my profession but has also improved my understanding of the operations of the organizations immensely. In the future, these skills and lessons learned through the Co-op program in the organization would immensely help me in enhancing my productivity, improving my interpersonal and communication skills, and act as a platform where I would base my profession in the future. The skills gained from the program would prove relatively instrumental in executing my role in other workplaces, and the collaborative approach in working would be immensely helpful in my future profession and meeting the goals of organizations I would be working for. Although the time was short, I witnessed a robust organization with employees who are self-driven and whose operations are grounded on professional ethics and able to help in driving the ideals of the company and inculcating the organizational culture of the institution.
Generally, I appreciate the time and effort that most workers placed right from orientation to the critical aspects of the operations of the company. Their contributions, directly and indirectly, made me an improved individual as far as the imparting of skills and expertise is concerned. I once again thank the company for the golden opportunity I was granted. Thank you and regards.
Yours Sincerely
