On average, a large business organization can spend around 9-12% of its total profits on advertisements. In contrast, for a small business, the company owner can decide to spend, on average, as little as 2% on its proceeds on advertisements (Scarborough and Cornwall, 2015). That makes advertisement and marketing a huge challenge for small enterprises, startups difficult, and their budgeting becomes tense. The following are some of the ways that small businesses can stretch their marketing budget to grow profits and revenues.
