The apocalypse’s
The key characters involved in the apocalypse’s first stage include Adolf Hitler, Konstantin von Neurath, and Joachim von Ribbentrop. The first stage was aggression that took place between the years 1933 to 1939. The interest of Hitler was to conquer and control lebensraum in the East through war. He believed that Germans were supposed to control and dominate all territories in the East. Therefore, Hitler planned war to conquer the Soviet Union and Poland. In this stage of the apocalypse, Konstantin von Neurath helped Germany overcome various military restrictions and establish alliances, which played a significant role in achieving the Nazi’s goals. Joachim von Ribbentrop was appointed by Hitler to replace Neurath to develop and enact a more aggressive policy that helped Germany conquer more territories through war threats. German attacked Poland in 1939. In the second stage of the crushing defeat that took place between the years 1939 and 1940, Hitler employed the Blitzkrieg strategy to attack and conquer Poland in 1939. Using the same strategy in 1940, Germany defeated Norway, Denmark, France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
The third stage was known as Shock, which took place from1940 to 1941. At this stage, Hitler started the operation Barbarossa. The goal of Hitler at this phase was to invade and conquer Russia. In addition, he ordered his soldiers to conquer Yugoslavia. The fourth phase is known as World Ablaze, which took place from 1941 to 1942. By the end of 1941, Hitler had defeated and taken control of many territories in Eastern and Western Europe. There was a change in Hitler’s way of life and character in the fifth phase of the apocalypse, The Great Landings/The Noose, from 1942 to 1943. He gave directions of all operations from his headquarters situated in the east, and he refrained from visiting bombed areas. Also, he continually remained more reliant on his physician.
In 1943, Hitler ordered his armies to rescue Mussolini, who was arrested in July 1943. The last stage of apocalypse is known as Inferno, which took place from 1944 to 1945. At this phase, various desperate anti-Nazi citizens and officers were focused on removing Hitler from power in order to negotiate peace. In 1944, a bomb exploded at Hitler’s headquarters, where he had an ongoing conference. Hitler suffered superficial injuries from the explosion. He relocated his headquarters from East to West. Adolf Hitler committed suicide in 1945 after he failed to carry out his final resistance operation to South since soviet armies were heading towards his headquarters in the West. The lessons that readers learn from world war two analysis and documentary is that people or nations should avoid engaging in the war at all times and should strive against aggression. Another lesson that readers learn is that war results in various consequences that adversely impact people and a country’s economy. For instance, world war two led to the destruction of industrial infrastructure in Europe, collapse4 of the European economy, the death of many people, destruction of properties, and homelessness of millions of individuals. Leaders and soldiers should refrain from engaging in war and conflict at all costs for personal gains. For example, Hitler’s goal to conquer and take control of all nations in the east was driven by personal interests and fulfillment. Therefore, they should focus on resolving conflicts and building peace with all countries.
