The current research is critical in the growth and successful implementation of field experience in the context of the UAE. The call for this educational reform into the teaching process and learning stems from multiple references. According to…………the target to achieve a quality level of education in the UAE involve gap and shows that it is still not on the track to be attained soon, with only a few areas from the Ministry of Education UAE showed improvements since 2010. Thus, a review was conducted by Blaik Hourani and Litz (2019) stated that the education and learning of the students showed that there are areas of improvement required in the teaching methodology and call for more effective growth that is still not in synchrony with educational institutes’ demands. From this study, it seems that to ensure a priority to the teachers’ self-evaluation in the UAE and help them gain literacy and professional development, there is a need to provide different assessment approaches at their early stages of teaching academics and undertake evaluation of the teachers’ pedagogy with the view to implement the effective quality education program. Research on field experiences in the context of the UAE is extensive but looking at it and analysing it in light of the Danielson Framework is not yet carried out by any scholar. According to……….there are four main advantages of using Danielson Framework for evaluating teacher’s efficacy; students are placed at their skill levels, the program structure is developed to ascertain the mastery of the content and the instructions are provided to accommodate each student’s rate of learning and educational programs are field-tested and revised before embarking practical experience. Results from scholars………..suggest that Danielson Framework is an effective tool, particularly in evaluating student teachers’ field experience and for the student teachers who are categorised in the midst of their educational program. The research study by……………..revealed that Danielson Framework is the clear approach that helps to achieve the professional growth of teachers and ensure their success when compared with those who have used empirical evidence and other approaches to evaluate the efficacy of teachers’ pedagogy (Al-Qirim et al., 2018)

The previous literature conducted on teacher evaluation in their field experience in the UAE identifies after analysing teacher performance that there is an increased harmony between the teachers and school policy-makers that the teacher evaluation in their field experience influences the teacher practices and their professional development. However, it is estimated by some researchers that this teacher development program is superficial in the UAE and is not reached its adequate level. Argued by………., when they evaluate teachers’ efficacy in their field experience in the UAE, it revealed that teachers perceive themselves as if they are placed in the passive part as a recipient of the external evaluation program and they believe that due to insufficient feedback provided by the supervisors from the school context, they are unable to improve their pedagogical style in the professional context. When the literature is studied, it is unleashed that there is a gap in the body of literature, which exhibits efficacy teachers’ pedagogical approach in the UAE and how their field experience helps them galvanise their professional development and personal growth. Therefore, this research study endeavours to find out how much academic knowledge and professional development is offered and are taken by the teachers of the selected educational institutes in the UAE that are implementing the field experience program. More importantly, the thesis will evaluate the efficacy of teaching pedagogy in light of the Danielson framework, which is not yet utilized by any scholar in terms of UAE teachers’ teaching evaluation. For that, they need to maintain a commitment with students and assess their needs and offer individualized support for every student. Hence, this study uses the Danielson framework as a tool to investigate the amount of professional and personal development offered during educational setup and field experience and if it is feasible for them to attain the teaching expertise confidently and progressively with the right amount of professional development. The findings from the given study will lead to recommendations for further development and planning of professional development. Recommendations are made in the context of further planning and implementation of professional development and training in field experience, if more programs and reforms emerge.
