The skill to lead or the capability to influence others is how leadership is defined in the English Oxford dictionary. Leadership can also mean the creation of the desired future vision, which, in its way, involves all the members of the community or an organization in one platform. A leadership philosophy, on the other hand, is a set of beliefs and principles that an individual uses to evaluate information and be able to respond to other people and different situations. Among some of the successes, I have accomplished becoming a legal consultant nurse; this is my personal goal that is very much proud of. I addition to this is fantastic in my job, doing my duties successfully, and receiving positive feedback from my clients, subordinates, and organization. At home, I am an excellent child who is educated, and practicing her career and in the community am a hero for saving the lives of my clients.
According to Burns 2012, in the development of leadership philosophy, one must be able to identify the core values that enable them to achieve the results of success. Through the use of the strength-based inventory, I believe that some of the core values I hold dear include moral and ethical integrityIntegrity, treating others right as I would treat myself and would want others to treat me, teamwork, Perseverance, and personal development to be better and develop the world significantly. The aspect of managing people as I would want to be treated builds up the values of respect, integrity, integrity, and honor. According to the strength-based inventory, I tend to consider people to be more significant than things. In this case, mu values are more directed at individuals and improving them compared to other things.
I believe in hanged and making a difference. Making a distinction is a significant factor and a contributing aspect of development and advancements. Through path-goal leadership, I think that a lot of changes can be made. This style of leadership stands on the idea that leaders are motivators for their subordinates in terms of productivity and hard work in the achievement of goals. Through this leadership, a leader can be directive, participative, or performance-oriented. This enables a leader to help others achieve their personal goals as well as organizational goals through guidance, direction ad coaching. The best thing about these leadership styles is that it not only focuses on corporate achievements but also on personal results among subordinates. I believe that the path-goal leadership technique will help in making the difference by not only concentrating on the organizations but also on the individuals responsible for the development of the organizations through the recognition and support of the subordinates, productivity, work motivation, and teamwork increases. For instance, having a professional will cause the staff to work better and efficiently.
No one is perfect and believes in becoming better progressively. One of my short-termed goals is to be able to implement path-goal leadership. Although this leadership style is often used, it is not well executed, and less focus is put in its operation. I believe that through the sensitization of other colleagues and subordinates, this plan will come to motion resulting in a successful goal orientation technique. According to the Clifton Strengths Gallup report, my themes include an analytic, relator, responsible, belief, and deliberate. These strengths enable me to work through work to completion as well as working towards the achievement of common organizational goals.
On the long term goals, I aspire to be emotionally intelligent. This consists of emotional awareness and ability to manage emotions in both personal level and the feelings of others. Emotions are critical in daily life, and being in a position to manage them is satisfactory. Emotions can cause mismanagement and poor leadership. Although this ability will take time to accomplish, I look forward to being emotionally intelligent through help from others, personal reflection, and therapy to make me a better leader.
