the importance of using condoms for men to reduce transmission of HIV transmission.
Discussion Prompt 2
For instance, if the intervention program is about the importance of using condoms for men to reduce transmission of HIV transmission. I would consider the non-traditional tool to inform the community. For instance, encourage a performance on the risks that relate to being HIV positive the importance of using condoms through songs or poetry. Additionally, use posters showing images of the effects of being HIV positive thus impacting the importance of using condoms as a preventive measure. More so, incorporate storytellers using information that that would communicate the same information (Brombal, Moriggi & Marcomini, 2017). Performance tools use story-telling as the basis for creating and communicating information. Performance is the most outstanding conventional tool as compared to others since it is emotional and an affective dimension of information sharing. Additionally, it involves feelings through intuition appealing rather than logical persuasion. Therefore, performance would be the most suitable tool to communicate about the importance of using condom by men to prevent HIV transmission since it entertains and engage the individuals directly in the process.
