Introduction
The Internet forms a critical link between our daily life activities. The availability of the Internet and the services it provides has brought the world into a small village where you can access services across the globe without having to travel. However, the critical role that internet play also comes with another harmful side of using it too.
Main body
For the positive side of the Internet comes with resounding attributes. Firstly, it makes the life more comfortable by bringing services such as; banking, shopping, and direct communication closer to the users. The Internet reduces the amount of time that will be used to access services while creating employment to a large pool of a population. Also, websites such as LinkedIn allow people who are seeking employment to post their information so that potential employers can find easily. The Internet makes people smarter and encourages before to innovate, for instance, Benzos’ Amazon or Jack’s twitter platform. Last but not final, the Internet provides the social platform where people can share information freely without being censored by perspective governments.
According (….) The Internet is not a clean society either. The best example is social media platforms, which have been used to bullying, body shaming, and creating what is known as the “toxic mirror” effect, through the spread of false information and psychosocial torture which has led to people committing suicide due to depression and pleasure created by internet users.
Beyond cyberbullying, child pornography, and internet scammers, the use of the Internet, especially children and some adults it has become addictive. For internet gamers, it has become a very concern factor to the health and affects the production or contribution to society by the said addicts. Internet addicts can be classified as the same as the drug addicts.
Conclusion
The Internet has a lot of good to offer but has more derision, more hate, and criminal elements on it. Once the Internet is used, the way it was not intended to be, it becomes a hazardous tool in the hands of dangerous people.
