The new design
The obtained result from the new design numerical simulation is to be validated by experimental result. The new design geometries are manufactured using Taylor’s University utilizing CNC machine and 3D printing machine. After modifying and softening the surface of the new design, the models are installed one by one in Taylor’s University low-speed wind tunnel test section to conduct experiments. Taylor’s University Wind tunnel is functioning with ATI GAMMA F/T Transducer which this device collects force and moment data and transfer the readings from the transducer sensor to the PCI DAW card model of NI PCI-6220 inside the computer. Figure 3-1 and Figure 3-2 present Taylor’s University wind tunnel and ATI GAMMA F/T Transducer, respectively.
