Career Journey
Gregg Blatt holds an undergraduate degree in English. The senior executive also went to Columbia University where he studied law. After law school, Gregg Blatt took up a position at a prominent mergers and acquisitions Law firm based in New York. Working at the law firm helped him acquire a strong working ethic. His time at the firm was, however, short-lived. His budding interest in becoming a screenwriter led him to take up a job at an entertainment law firm. While at the firm, he was offered the position of general counsel at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.
Gregg Blatt joined IAC in December 2010 where he served in the capacity of the CEO. While at the firm, he took up additional roles as the general counsel and Executive vice president, whereby he was responsible for the human resources, legal, and communications functions. When a subsidiary of IAC, Match.com started facing hurdles, he was offered the CEO position, whereby he helped streamline the dating site through his efficient problem-solving skills.
