The purpose of the Artifacts
The initial essence of the Parthenon was to establish a pinnacle of the Delian league. It in this case meant to host the main center of Greece religious functions. The artifact also meant to show the cultural might of Greece which entails a symbolism of power and wealth.
The chapel was commissioned by Pope Sixtus IV to decorate prominent painters, including Botticelli and Rosselli. Around the
time, the ceiling of the Sixty Chapel was decorated with stars as a clear blue sky. In 1503, Julius II, the new pope, agreed to alter some of
the decoration of the Sistine Chapel. The artist Michelangelo was
ordered to do so. Since he considered himself a sculptor, Michelangelo was balked and not a painter, and he was working
hard to sculpt the king’s tomb. Yet in 1508 Pope Julius insisted and in his frescoed ceiling, Michelangelo started work.

Parthenon was built by Pericles whose main purpose was to host the
deity, Athena. Though that was not the primary effort to host Athena, Pericles meant to protect the principal values
of co
ntrol of war, literature, arts, and wisdom.
At the end of the altar of
the Church, Michelangelo depicted nine scenes from the Genesis of “The Separation of
Light From the Darkness.” The most well-known panelists are ‘The Creation of Adam.’ The panels are surrounded by pictures and spinning male nuts by prophets and heathen Sibyls. Decorate corners
