The program will be based on the PDCA model; under this, the outlet will focus on identifying possible causes of customer dissatisfaction. The reason adopted for the plan was low service quality. To solve this and ensure the standard of services are improved the following idea was proposed. Planning- proper planning of all the organization resources to ensure that the intended service is offered. Due to the nature of the service industry, the cause for poor services was attributed to be, low skills of the service provider. The plan in an attempt to solve this introduces the concept of the human resource department in the food outlet. The department has the responsibility of ensuring proper recruitment is undertaken to ensure that the right people for the right jobs. The department will also provide appropriate job designing. Thus ensuring that the employees do not get confused when performing their duties. The introduction of this department will enhance job description making the employees aware of what their jobs requirements. Quality assurance in service delivery can be achieved through proper training of the employees to ensure that, the employees have confidence in performing their duties. The plan at this point is intended to identify sections and instances of deviation from the expected performance within the service delivery process. Through this, the project seeks to eliminate the obstacles affecting the employee performance to ensure that the quality standards set under this plan conform to the actual performance. Quality control under this plan will be achieved by monitoring the employee’s performance. To effectively achieve quality production, the program seeks to include standard procedures to guide the employees in performing their duties. The project suggests the use of scripted response; this approach will help reduce the deviation in the quality of services provided. The proposal will see the employee use written down procedures in performing their duties thereby ensuring the employees receive the necessary guidance on the performance requirement. Dynamism in the operating environment can affect the quality standards whereby the standards fall short of the demand. To address this, issue the plan contains the quality improvement phase. The operational environment is a very dynamic failure to adapt to a given environmental change may reduce an organization competitive advantage. For the outlet to retain its competitive advantage, the plan suggests that there ought to be a regular environment analysis practices undertaken. These will enable the firm to remain updated about the changes in the environment. Quality improvement will ensure that the firm takes an opportunity promptly and respond to the environmental threats efficiently.
