Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners use herbs, acupuncture, and other conditions to treat a wide range of conditions. On the other hand, modern medicine is a medical system based on assumptions that the body and the mind are separate. The main focus of modern medicine is physical health. The two types of medicine are conventional and alternative medicines. Despite being effective in treatment, they give different results depending on the patient reaction to the treatment method (Sutton, 2010). Kelly (2018) claims that conventional medicine is opted for urgent and emergency cases. On the other hand, alternative medicine uses organic medicine and is mainly based on the recuperative ability of nature. The practitioners believe that nature has the power to initiate treatment and heal the body. Conclusively, both alternative and conventional medicines can treat and help a patient recover. The government and health practitioners should promote medicines by encouraging their use for treatment.
