Twenty-Six Ingredients added to a Typical School Burger
The video contains an explanation of all the ingredients that are in a typical school burger. The parts are quite hard to pronounce, and they don’t sound like food. However, their use in the burger is well explained. Some of the ingredients include Zinc Oxide, Copper Gluconate, Niacinamide, Potassium Chloride, and Ferrous Sulfate
Copper Gluconate is one of the ingredients in the burger. It is blue, and it is also a micronutrient. The body needs small amounts of copper for its cells and the PennEnergy metabolism to work at its optimal. Caramel coulure is used to make the burger to look more presentable. It gives the burger a look and the smell as if it was flamed. Disodium Inosinate some chefs say it is fine, but parents do not like it because it is similar to MSG. Soy flour is added to add more proteins and to bind the meat together
The ingredients are, however, harmful if taken in large quantities. Copper can worsen the condition receiving hemodialysis for kidney disease. Caramel color contains a carcinogenic chemical that exposes humans to cancer. Disodium insonate can cause a lack of sensation or numbness. A lot of cases of tightness or pain to the chest have been reported by people who consume Disodium insolate.
In my opinion, fast foods should only be consumed in small amounts. They shouldn’t be taken regular either as the ingredients that compose the food are harmful. The video explains that little quantities of the ingredients are not harmful if they are taken in small amounts. I feel like it’s okay for the ingredients to be added to my food as long as they are added in the right quantities. They have some benefits to the body if they are added in the right amounts.
