Unit VI: Solid Waste Treatment Equipment
The lab test in the solid waste treatment process depicts that the frame filter can be put into maximum use. On the other hand, the plate filter will be used before the introduction of the press to the wastewater, and it will be controlled by analyzing concentration levels. Notably, the concentration levels in solid waste were more significant than the results from other tests. Also, the filter press will be applied in the high-pressure stage and when separating sludge.
Indeed, the strategy is proved reliable by analytics and the formation of cake solid when handling high concentrations. In the context of filtration, the quality of sludge is relatively average, but the systems can assure better production rates by utilizing press capacities. Further, the system has a higher tolerance portion, meaning its operation features are efficient and safe (Bahadori, 2014). However, the process has to be implemented in the stated specific manner for efficiency.
Technically, the features of the system are few numerically, and should always accompany the application of the plate or filter press. Also, the equipment provides the most reliable form approach of ventilation, particularly form the process of dewatering. The system should be washed by high pressure, but associated hardware must be pre-installed. Likewise, calcium buildup, which is generated by lime and scale will be cleared by circulating acid through the system. While sludge in the grinder, the system will have to undergo an acid wash before the residue reaches the conditioning tank. Also, the cake will be accompanied by breakers, which will monitor the press and filter processes.
