The mind of human beings is the most important organ in the body as it helps to coordinate various activities. The mind ensures that all functions of the body are done accurately. Also, the mind is responsible for keeping the memories of various events, and external factors can influence this. Various events make certain places live in our memories, and this is evident from the examples in the different texts as well as personal experiences.
The first element that makes the setting to be memorable is a personal achievement. When a person achieves something from a particular setting, it will likely be more significant. For example, in the text From Life on the Mississippi, the setting was extraordinary because Mark Twain believed that becoming a steamboat would be the only way to get out of the boring town.
