What must be included in the Result and Discussion
Introduction
In this section of the research, the findings of the study are presented together with the discussion and reference sources that enable the researcher to maximally address the research problem. The choice of result presentation is normally outlined in the research proposal methodology where the researcher clearly outlines how he will collect and present the results in the research report (Glasman-Deal, 2010)
The research design must be properly used to determine the impact of the sign illustration on sign learning in this case by using graphs, tables, and other figures. The design is normally selected to assist the researcher to closely examine the result, present them, and discuss them with the support of reference.
The result to be presented must be in line with addressing the research problem. In this section, the information should prepare an outline to organize thoughts in the logical form (Annesley, 2012). To keep the aim of addressing the research problem, a researcher should stop obscuring the message with peripheral issues by focusing on the main objective and hypothesis of the study set in the prior section.
Statement of Principal Findings

(De Boeck et al., 2008). When the research question set in previous sections is not well answered, the researcher must be able to explain which elements of the question were addressed and outline the verdict. The answer to the research question indicates the culmination of the paper which should be included at the beginning of the discussion and must be used to initiate a discussion of broader implications drawn from the findings (Annesley, 2010).
Strengths and Weaknesses of the Study
In this section, the researcher should highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the methods and approaches used. These strengths aim at helping in convincing the readers to validate the conclusions drawn from the research. This is because the editors and readers are the most interested in the limitation of the study.
Once the researcher presents the findings plus strengths and weaknesses then he must go ahead to amplify the entire discussion by commenting on the major results in comparison with the available case study used. (Glasman-Deal, 2010)
Possible Mechanism and Implications
The researcher should try to inform readers of the exact mechanism used to produce the phenomenon and implication of the research problem. This mechanism must comprise of entities. Listing of this application should give the reader a space to understand the value of the researcher beyond the broad objective of the study.
Unanswered Questions and Future Research
The research should briefly extend his discussion to the unanswered question; briefly outline avenues that could be used for the further address of the unanswered questions.
Case Study
Consider, De Boeck et al. (2014) research results, the author tried to present a result that addressed the study question posed in the introduction, followed by the study implication (‘the result obtained in this study demonstrated that…’). The author answered the question in the introduction (‘our results demonstrated that…’).
The results obtained in the study demonstrated that genetic variability exists in N2 fixation resistance to harsh conditions. The features appeared to be a critical candidate for exploitation in common bean breeding groups to ascertain the genes that are resistant to drought.
The researcher identified the critical season for the yield determination and associating those seasons for the yield components (Illari, & Williamson, 2012). This knowledge gives space for the more targeted stress mitigation practices, the knowledge also aids in enhancing the capability of breeders to screen for stress tolerance.
