IMPORTANCE OF INTEGRITY IN THE ARMY

One of the important is to do what is right, legally, and morally. This is one of the word army uses to define integrity. Being integrity means that you are honest and forthcoming around yourself and what you do; hence to be a solder, you are required to have spotless integrity, which no one would be able to interrogate it (Nekvapilová, 2018). If your integrity is examined you must be able to show that you are honest as likely. For instance, if you say you want to go someplace and the individual you are telling doesn’t have confidence in you ,You ought to be able to move with the person to the position and verify that you ought to be there and the deed that was accomplished whereas there were one hundred percentage accurate

Lies and embellishing is one of the most differing of honesty, hence everybody in the army scowls upon being untruthful .Being a liar it hurts moral and encourages conflict in the army. Honesty expresses a lot about you and what kind of employee would be, there for everybody ought to be hard-working in keeping his or her honesty spotless and magnificent. In the army integrity is the first priority thing that you are taught which you can take somewhere in the world and one of which the civilian alike in order to rent the army personals for their business since they are trustworthy to get the work completed .

Honesty is another issue in the army which is considered as key point and encouraged to everyone. Being honest means that you ought to only state the reality about what you know and not saying more than what you recognize ( Matelski, 2016). Integrity is not being right only all the time but you can also be wrong about something or someone therefor it needs honesty to state what you know. However integrity requires a lot of knowledge since it is about relaying with the information to the best and therefor need a lot of knowledge .knowledge is required due to the misunderstanding the information that you may have or received

Respect is one of the army value and most important in today’s army. Respect works alongside with discipline although is not one of the army values which falls under self-less service. Respect creates a sense of unity among the solders where under circumstance the military cannot have any casualty due to disrespecting one of the leaders appointed over them (Williams, 2019). Respect lead to self-less services which help in teamwork and encourages discipline among the fellow soldiers. When a person joins the army the first thing thought is respect and the meaning of it is stored in the mind. It is very important to treat people with respect as they should be treated which helps in recognizing and acknowledging all the leaders on what purpose they are in the army. Respect is found in the same hand with disrespect but when a person shows you respect him or she shows you the upmost attention to everything that is put out to that person. In the army when you obey an order from the commissioned officers is highly respected in the military world

Discipline is one of the outmost importance in the army value so as to ensure efficiency of the military organization .Level of discipline affect a solder conducts directly which means the two concept are direct related .while all core values are needed to be followed individually, Discipline is required to apply the correct application for all of them .When a solder in the armed forces shows respect to the seniors all the time it help to maintain discipline in military. Discipline in military is built on a foundation of obedience to orders where brand new privates are being taught to obey orders from their leaders since the first day they joined the army. In the army every solder can witness that obedience was schooled in their head on the first basic training.

Integrity is a steadfast adherence to a strict ethical code and the state of being unimpaired, soundness and finally the quality or condition of being whole or undivided. The military will be divided without integrity. In military, the key to success is unity. Therefore the success can’t be attained with unimpaired or divided soldiers. A Known military soldier, Julius Caesar had a famous quote “Divide and conquer”. This means that if there is division among the soldiers a nation can be conquered. This can only be prevented through the show of integrity at all times and not when it suites one’s purpose

Conclusion

Apart from the fact that integrity is a vital characteristic of a military soldier. It is also a significant lifetime virtue to have. Therefore, it should be integrated into the daily life of a soldier.
