Work
Work can be defined as an activity that either involves physical or mental effort to achieve a result or a purpose. It can also be described as an effort or exertion that is directed to accomplish or produce something. The philosophy of work varies as different people have different beliefs concerning it. Others positively perceive work, while others have bad attitudes and feelings towards it. Regardless of what different people feel about it, I understand it confidently, thereby discussing the empowerment it has to enhance and transform the society that has now become a better place.
Work is a Reflection
Work is a reflection of the people who are doing it. The outcome of work is like a variable. This means that the work of one person could be far and wide better than that of other people. If a person believes that work is something that can be avoided and decides to do little than what is required of him or her, the relationship that can be become as a result of this could be negative, as like the outcome. But when a person believes he or she is capable of creating something, then his or her relationship with work would be positive, as like his or her personal or even professional outcomes.
Work Can Improve a Person or Persons
The way people are improving is because of work. Dadrus illustrates that doing work improves people. Lazy people who do not do work are not enhanced. Even in Christianity, it is written that those who do not work should not eat. Another verse states that God blesses the work of your hand. This means that, if you work, you will be blessed by God. Besides, work can improve how a person feels about himself or herself. It is because of work which enables people to learn new skills. This includes the necessary skills that are needed to work with others. Work can enhance competencies that can help a person to become or grow, or even transform and be in a better place than the way he or she currently is right now. Moreover, it can also make a person more valuable to others.
Work Improves Other People
Most of the work people are doing now is that it benefits another person or persons. For example, the value people are creating to their clients and customers is through work. A doctor treating patients at hospitals through his work/services until they get healed/cured is the value he is offering. In the public sector, different groups of stakeholders have benefited as a result of work. We often wonder how other people feel when they know that their work is valued and appreciated.
No one Would Stop Someone When he or she is doing a lot of Work than When it is necessary.
It is sporadic to find a situation where different people were willing to stop other people from doing more work than what was expected of them. In another scenario, there is another group of people who had been threatening their fellow workers with violence from the fact that the guy used to work extra harder than themselves. They later came to understand that it was acceptable. The guys thought that their fellow colleague was being paid higher than them. They only came to note that they being played the same wage as their fellow employee who was working harder than them. This kind of experience was the only one that has been sticking to my mind since it is rare. Any time a person wants to do any extra work than what is necessary, you will find that there will be no other person who will have the capacity to stop you. The other people are just allowed to do what is expected of them.
Work Brings Greater Responsibility.
Individuals who are working are accountable for some results, and thus these individuals end up becoming responsible for those kinds of results. This means that when a person is given some responsibilities that in any kind of work, the person is also provided resources to meet those outcomes, for instance, in a leadership or management role. The contrasting of this is also true; a person who is not working cannot have greater responsibility, such as the one who is working.
People Who do not Love Working Are Doing It Wrong
A person who does not love to work, he or she is either doing it wrong or does the faulty work (dadrus). The person is as likely as the other person. Individuals might be doing themselves wrong over their emotions and leave their feelings or passion. Or either these people change their mind and go somewhere else and do something. They can do better by choosing the right of doing work, at least they will be constructive.
Working is Part of Our Identity, But Not All
I can be a sales leader, also a salesperson. I can be a speaker, and sometimes a teacher. She can be a writer and even sometimes a business philosopher, but not all. And since people spend most hours working, they somehow, in part, identify people by what they are doing. People can learn from each other in terms of what they do when they are working. This has remained to be an essential aspect of human beings. Thus, this means that working is part of our identity.
Conclusion
Therefore, to conclude, I have deliberatively described the empowerment that work has enhanced in our society. We must understand the significance of work in our community to erase the negative beliefs different people have placed against it. From fact, work has positively impacted and change our society. Therefore, any person should never stop anyone from doing any work. Work is necessary as it helps us accomplish and produce something to meet our needs and goals. Work has played a more significant part in uniting people in society. And as of such, it should always remain the only aspect that brings us (people) together. Work should continue to join us together regardless of any profession because it is a taking initiative. Whether being proactive, active, or even hustle, we need to initiate work to become our own. We need to do good work to meet our needs and goals. The best step that can assist us in beating our limiting and empowering ourselves to accomplish more shall be through practice. Lastly, I would say that I am idealistic about work and working.
