            The most beneficial skills obtained from watching both videos are listening, non-verbal communication, straight-talking, and emotional control. In the videos, for one to grasp the content right, listening has to be the main aspect. Doing the action of listening increases listening skills, obtaining every information clearly as possible. The listening skills in not about perceiving the voice through ears but also understanding the feelings of a speaker during information delivery. Non- verbal skills are also in the videos whereby the viewer sees the informer’s body position in the video. Non-verbal communication skill, for instance, depends on the facial expression, body position, gestures, tone, and attitude of the voice and eye contact. All these are obtained just by looking at the video. The way a person reacts, speaks, gestures displays more feelings than words.

The skills can be in the place of work by being present physically. For one to receive the information of a speaker, being present is very important. Communication during the phone does not consider aspects like gestures and body position, meaning that non-verbal skills are very important. Noticing the nuances is whereby the listener understands nonverbal cues. Even though listening is all about hearing words, a good listener will understand what is not in the conversation. This helps people, especially employees, understand instructions better in the workplace platform and, therefore, increase communication. Not interrupting is another perspective in the workplace. The listener may interrupt and interfere with the flow of information from the speaker, resulting in not receiving all the required information.

There are several communication challenges from communication skills, and the first one is the lack of a plan. Effective communication requires forethought, mainly if the speaker does not regularly speak to the audience. Another challenge posed is not understanding the speaker, especially when the employer is giving instructions that need to be strictly followed—finally, poor engagement of the listener in the conversation. If a listener is not engaged in the conversation effectively, it may end up doing what the employer does not intend to do.

In overcoming the challenges, a listener needs to have a plan in listening. If the information is huge, taking notes for future reference is necessary. Another way of overcoming the challenges is by the listener to try and understand the speaker. Total focus and attention are required by the listener to get the information actively. The listener needs to be engaged in the communication to avoid poor engagement, which may lead to an employee not grasping information from an employer.
