I am writing to express my interest in becoming an African Union Youth Volunteer. I learned about the opportunity through social media, and I found I am fit for the opportunity.
The opportunity to join the African Union Youth Volunteer greatly interests me because I would like to engage in meaningful participation as a young person by providing services to community and continent at large .There being a gap in my continent in various sectors such as agriculture, education ,business and entrepreneurship. Given the opportunity I will be able to serve and also gain crucial professional experience and social competence not forgetting international exposure and improve my leadership skills.
I believe that I would make a valuable asset to your team because I have a degree of professionalism in everything that I do, self-motivated, flexible and I easily adapt to new and challenging environments and I highly respect culture diversity, practices and religion. Having come from a community where I have seen the gaps I will be in a better position to provide solutions to challenges that young people are facing and also encourage them to pursue their passion .
As per my professional summary I am highly regarded for coaching/training in educational sector. Therefore as an African Union Volunteer I will offer my skills in teaching young people in communities, involve them in activities that promote their personal development and life skills. And also involve them in income generating projects and encourage them to use their talents.
This opportunity will create a life changing experience to me and to the community I will serve.
