Mother Teresa was a very nice nun who was determined and dedicated her whole life to helping those living in poverty. Mother Teresa spent her entire life, making the rest of the people look bad by putting all her effort, time, and energy on serving the poor. She was an Albanian who lived in the Ottoman Empire during her childhood and later went to India to become a nun when she was 18. Until 35, she continued to serve diligently as a teacher and a nun. However, it was at 35 when she decided to dedicate all her time to help the needy individuals around her. Therefore, she quit being a nun and chose to start Missionaries of Charity, which was responsible for assisting the poor and sick people in having a better life in what was termed as “those living like animals could die like angels.” This mission made her famous, and she even expanded her work abroad, eventually serving poor people from 133 nations with the help of 4500 sisters. In 1979, she won the Nobel Peace Prize and became an example of good things today.
I choose Mother Teresa because she is a role model and an excellent example of good people in the society. The society today has neglected the poor people. The community consists of people from different classes: low and high social rank. People from a low social class are usually dischttps://essaygroom.com/portfolio/gender-based-issues/riminated against and treated as outlaws who do not deserve equal chances. On the other hand, the higher social class is favored and traditionally considered important in society. Mother Teresa has gone against this trend and fought hard and dedicated all her time to ensure that the poor live a happy and enjoyable life. Therefore, society should not take advantage of the less privileged but work to uplift them so that they can enjoy life.
Looking at history, low-class individuals lived in poverty and did not own anything. They were mainly workers for wealthy individuals.
